This used to be a reasonable little cafe but it has gone downhill to the point that we won't be back again. The wife ordered a baked potato with cheese filling, which was described as "served with salad", which had always been the case. 45 minutes later she was given a box with a luke warm potato in, some cheese, and the salad consisted of some bits of onion as can be seen from the attached photos. The place was dirty with trip hazards just inside the door, again look at the photos, pigeon feathers blowing around the floor which had obviously not been swept in a while. There are many decent little cafes in Mablethorpe, but sadly this is no longer one of them.
Brilliant food at brilliant prices, in the current climate it really was a treat to have what you want without breaking the bank. Really enjoyed it and will be going back. A real cafe as I used to remember it. Bacon roll and hot drink for £2.50. try it you will be surprised.
On the outside of the shop it was advertised £2 for a bacon bap and a drink. I got in there which incidentally didn't look clean, Then told in no uncertain terms by very rude staff it has gone up its now £2.50. The following week was still advertised outside at £2 .
Is this illegal. Can't comment on the food because I didn't have any ?
No allergy awareness. No communication skills. No hygiene. No good customer services. Specifically told her my child's allergies numerous times, specifically said no butter, she watched me check ingredients and yet she failed to pass my child's allergies onto her boss who was cooking the food. My child's meal came out smothered in his allergens. She could have killed him and she simply didn't care, I was told if I didn't like the service I shouldn't eat there. I got a refund but she also banned us.... like we'd ever actually return!
Good prices and food not bad . Understand why people think it's a low quality place when you walk in, don't judge a book by its cover...
No frills but excellent food served by friendly staff. £2 for a mug of tea and either a sausage, a bacon or an egg bap. I also tried the braised steak with mash n peas. Very tasty. Indoor and outdoor seating
Been here 2 or three times now, for 3 quid get a breakfast bap. Lovely food and Great service will be going again
Had a great full English breakfast here and tea in a proper mug ???? excellent value for money and proper tasty ????
