Netter Empfang und freundliche Bedienung in gediegener Atmosphäre (toller Blick auf den Lago di Lugano und die umliegenden, bewaldeten Berghänge).

Das Essen fast perfekt, da die vor dem Gast professionell filetierten Seezungen ihren letzten Platz auf kalten Tellern fanden. Auch die Gemüsebeilage war etwas dürftig und der leicht fade Fisch lechzte nach etwas wie einer Sauce...

Das Rindertartar als Vorspeise war jedoch ausgezeichnet!

Trotz allem gute Leistung jedoch für ein Restaurant in einem 5-Sterne-Haus leider von mir nur 4 Sterne..!

Es war gut, mehr aber auch nicht. Von einen Stern Michelin erwarte ich wesentlich mehr.

This restaurant fits perfectly to the outstanding 5 star hotel Splendide Royal which is in my opinion one of the rare real classic luxury hotels.

Sebbene la preparazione dei piatti e il menu sono di per se sono una bella esperienza,

non c’è un piatto che mi sia rimasto particolarmente impresso (a livelli di gusto e visivo) e che purtroppo ne giustifichi un’altra visita.

Premetto che qui a Lugano gli stellati li ho visti tutti, e posso permettermi di frequentare questi ristoranti. Sinceramente però il prezzo domandato per il Menu mi ha spiazzato, l’ho trovato oggettivamente troppo elevato per la categoria (parliamo infine di una stella Michelin e non due o tre)… penso che per il fatto che il

Un repas magnifique. Autant pour les yeux que pour les papilles. Ce fut une belle expérience culinaire.

2 menus exceptionnels à choix.

Nous avons pris un menu complet de saison, avec la sélection de vins d'accompagnement. Vins et plats étaient parfaitement accordés, bravo au cuisinier et au sommelier qui sont très doués. Le sommelier a fourni des explications très intéressantes.

Les 3 serveurs et sommelier présents étaient tous très professionnels et très souriants.

L'ambiance est très douce, le choix des couleurs ravissant et la musique par le pianiste dans le bar juste à côté est très agréable.

Un repas exceptionnel pour terminer une semaine qui ne l'a pas moins été pour nous.

They have 4 tasting menus to choose from, with the option to reduce the amount of meals.

We took a full menu “La nobilta et la tradizione” with accompanying wine. The food is a mix of South Swiss + South Italy traditions. It was incredibly interesting to dive into these traditions and feel interesting and incredible tastes. Wines were a perfect match to every meal. The Sommelier was of a very high level, very knowledgeable and professional.

The service was outstanding, every little detail was just perfect. The service was really outstanding even in comparison with other gastro and Micheline restaurants. The atmosphere is very classic with a beautiful music on the background. I highly recommend this restaurant

Just an outstanding meal. I appreciate that they have 3 options. I appreciate they didn’t have 25 ‘supplements’. The service was wonderful and gracious. The wines were paired perfectly and generous.
