I went for a group walk in the area, starting and ending new the pub. Some of us got refreshments here after the walk. The pub looks lovely, very atmospheric and welcoming. I'll likely come back soon.

lovely little pub. Good atmosphere friendly staff you may have to wait for your food but it's fresh and worth the wait try to pre book before hand

Came across the Howard Arms on a bike ride with a friend. We decided to come back for dinner which was excellent!! We both had the chilli which we agreed was possibly the best we had both ever had. Dessert was also fantastic. Great service, lovely family run pub and the home cooked food is brilliant. Had some very tasty local ale on tap too. Will definitely return if in the area again.

We had take away Sunday lunches for the second time and both times the food and service was excellent. Good sized portions, a wide selection of vegetables and all well cooked.

Good value, I would definitely recommend it.

Great food, at reasonable prices and has Ludlow Gold on tap! The staff are friendly and are very welcoming, so if you are after a country pub experience, this could be the place for you. The dining area is small so worth booking in advance, also they only take cash.

Don't judge this pub on first appearances. Our food was superb and we got a really warm and friendly welcome. Be aware it's cash only.

Small but perfectly formed pub with interesting decorative features and pleasant landlord. Ludlow Gold on draught and good food. Toilets are basic but functional :)
