Hotel Catullo Bardolino

Stayed here in sept for a week to celebrate special birthday, stayed in deluxe room it was beautiful more like 5 star, and immaculately cleaned. There was a little balcony and a view of the lake. Breakfast is buffet style help your self which was great. They had a pianist one morning he was very talented and a lovely surprise at breakfast. The hotel has a restaurant attached where we enjoyed a few good evening meals. The hotel is facing the lake, in a fantastic spot, easy to walk to shops bars restaurants and ferry. I would definitely book this hotel if I was staying in Bardolino again, It’s just perfect. All the staff are a credit to the hotel and it’s a perfect base to visit Lake Garda.

This is a brilliant hotel and when we go back to Bardolino, we will definitely stay there again. From the moment we arrived and until the day we left, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was so spacious and top quality. The breakfast was fresh and varied; and we were always greeted by friendly and smiling waitresses. There was always a sun lounger available around the pool when we wanted one. The pool was refreshing and the surrounding area was so clean. The dining area was nicely laid out and the menu diverse. Also. a big factor for us was the hotel was situated in the middle of the bars, restaurants and shops; and very close to the Ferry Terminal. Great place to stay!

We stayed here for 2 weeks from 9th September,|Couldn't fault anything about this hotel. |We had superior room with lake view and balcony, room was lovely, had bath which also included a shower in the bath, room also had a fridge. Balcony had 2 sunloungers. |All the staff were so friendly and helpful, Christina and Maria the waitresses at breakfast were lovely and we're always laughing and smiling.|Big thankyou to Francesca for helping us contact ferry service after we left bag on ferry and helping us arrange to pick it up the next day.|The food was lovely both at breakfast and in the restaurant for dinner or evening meals. |Breakfast there was a great choice of meats, cheese, cereals, fruit, bread rolls, cakes also bacon and scrambled eggs. Fruit juice, teas coffees which also included Lattes or cappachinos. |We also ate at restaurant 6 times for our evening meals, their was a great choice and all the meals were delicious.|Great location for ferry, bus about 7 min walk away, close to lots of shops and other restaurants. |The cleaners also did a great job as the hotel was spotless everywhere, |Would definitely recommend this hotel, and we are hoping to stay again in the future.

whats not to love....||the upgrade to a delux room was even better than the lake view last year. beautiful room, looked like it had just been refurbished. |lovely new marble bathroom which isn't always the case in Italy. |The staff are so friendly and work hard and long hours. |good typical Italian breakfast. was a joy to see Cristina every morning and most evenings too! |the 10% off your bill when you use the restaurant is a bonus. |quiet, peaceful pool area with a whirlpool, never a fight for a sunbed. |mainly english guests. |shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep.||

An excellent hotel, couldn’t fault it.|We booked through TUI which advertised the “Last room”. Didn’t want the last room as it usually ends up being rather small. Anyway, I emailed the hotel and within a hour we had upgraded to a fantastic room with a huge balcony from which we could look out over the small marina.|Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, everyone is to be complemented on the service they provided. Everywhere was spotlessly clean with the staff constantly on the go checking and cleaning.|We ate at the hotel most nights and the food was again excellent, we sat in the restaurant section where you can watch the sun setting, it really was a lovely end to each day. |I can’t thank the hotel enough for such a fantastic week.|We will definitely be back.

This hotel was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! The room was a standard double and although quite small particularly the shower I would not have changed it as it had a brilliant view over the harbour and lake. The only issues we had was that the cold water was always warm so could not drink resulting us having to buy bottled water but still couldn't keep it cold as there was no fridge. Also we had a couple of packed breakfast because of early organised trips ,although good they gave this option it was very basic. The breakfast in the hotel was very good and it was lovely to have a man playing the piano on Sunday morning. Staff were very efficient and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Had an absolutely amazing time, hotel and location is brilliant. Staff very friendly and helpful, hotel was spotless. We travelled with TUI and couldn't fault the service they provide from the moment you get to the airport to the journey home. |We had a standard room which was lovely, but the only downside was the size of the shower cubicle, it was very small, I am a size 16 and did find it very restricted. If you are on the large size you would definitely struggle. But I have to say that was definitely the only fault.|Would definitely return to the hotel again.
