Twice we have cycled into Fleetwood and found that tiny park with seating right by the Home Bakery. That's a good start but more was to come when we discovered the bakery's ham and turkey platter! Fresh sandwiches, small pork pie and sausage roll with a salad garnish, all on a paper plate wrapped in cling film. Enough to set two hungry cyclists up for the return ride, particularly when supplemented with large hot coffees. A veriety of delicious buns, cakes and pies are also on offer. And let us not forget to mention the cheerful good humour of the friendly staff.
Home Bakery in Fleetwood is truly an outstanding local business. Their friendly open-handed generosity is a real testament to their warm-hearted staff and their most excellent food business. They have gone above and beyond in every respect to help and our request for support was meet with such kindness and compassion as to be truly overwhelming. This business could not come more highly recommended. 5 Stars
Lovely sandwiches, some pre made by them and in the fridge. They'll add anything you want to them or make one completely from scratch for you. They have some giant buns which I love because they're great when you just want a biiiig fat sandwich. I've not really tried any of the baked stuff but the sausage rolls are really nice.
Found this place yesterday. Had a large egg and cress bap . It was delish. It was that good we drove back up there today on our way home from blackpool. Had a ham and cheese platter with salad £2.55. This place is great and if in blackpool area well worth a visit. Staff very friendly and cheap as chips
Medium Potato pie contained no discernable potato, or meat....just a strange unseasoned, unappetising gunk that moved like a jelly. Best bit was the crust. It was a waste of electricity, warming it up. The pie is now outside - for the seagulls. Who, strangely, are not touching it. Very disappointing.
I must say that the members of staff were very friendly/helpful.
Absolutely vile woman serving, not only was she rude to me and my partner but she was so rude to the elderly lady being served before us who was telling us before she was served that she’d had a bereavement today and was trying to eat something. Some people really don’t deserve a job!
As for the pastries, they aren’t the best but the cobs were nice and good value, just don’t expect a nice friendly service because you won’t get one here!
I recommend the little bakery up the road in Cleveleys on the Main Street where all the shops are, it’s much better in terms of quality and service but unsure of the name.
**Edit: in response to the owner, it was between 3:30pm and 4:00pm on 21st September 2023. It was the older of the two women.
Ordered a birthday cake for my daughter, and everyone agreed it was delicious. It was so nice and so tasty.
amazing place "proper" traditional bakery. The pastry does not give you indigestion like some cheap chain shops we shall not mention. l read staff were rude? l let them know about this review as l have never found them so. Theres just one problem...its so hard just to have the one steak pie l could literally eat 3 they are so delicious. Keep up the fabulous work.***** 5 star
