First time of trying this chip shop, was overall a positive experience. Fish and chips were nice and one of the better ones I've had. Main thing I found was the fish was very greasy but good portion sizes and overall was pleased.
I only ordered a medium chips [£2.90] but they were great, just what you’d expect from a good chippy. You got a large amount for a little price too, they easily fed 3 semi-hungry teenagers between just the one bag. Only gripe is the massive potholes outside, so be careful if you’re driving in to park!

They catered for gluten free and were well informed to ensure I didn't get malt vinegar on my chips. Thanks.
1st time in a long time that I've been in, used to be very good but not this time. Had a large haddock which was mostly batter and no fish, at £8 a pop, not happy.????
I tend to use this amazing fish & chip shop every Tuesday when I visit my friend. The quality of the food is awesome. Great menu. The team are also very good. Always a great experience. Try it out you will not be disappointed
The food here is absolutely amazing! Never ever fails to disappoint. Portion sizes are just perfect and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are so kind and welcoming. Always leave laughing after a lovely conversation with them.
We DID used to come here regularly and had been doing so for the past three years - until about two months ago. The chippy changed hands when rhe previous owners moved back to Portugal earlier this year, and sadly, its previously very high standards have fallen. It's no longer the stand-out chippy in the area for value for money. The first change we noticed were the battered sausages. They used to be excellent, but there was obviously a change in suppliers, and the new ones are not nice. Hard to describe the taste - but certainly not nice, and certainly not very 'sausage', and an odd texture. We decided that as we loved this chippy, we'd go with the change. However, very shortly afterwards, to our dismay, the 'small' chip portion that was PLENTY for 2 people, disappeared. Worse still, when we got our meal home and dished it up, the 'medium' chip portion (obviously significantly more expensive than the now non-existent 'small') was much SMALLER than the old small. Just ABOUT enough for one person and certainly by no stretch of the imagination enough for two. So we've reluctantly stopped using this chippy and gone back to another local one.
Best Fish & Chip shop I have come across in years! Non-greasy food, excellent quality and huge portions. The only negative is the portion size of the chips is excessive in my opinion; hardly a negative but you could easily reduce the portion size and there would still be ample :) Highly recommend but be aware of the queues as the place is extremely busy due to it's quality.
