Had 3 battered sausages, 1 plain. 3 med chips and 1 small.
Our usual place was closed so went here instead as wanting to eat on Lepe Beach.
Impressive service skills- like a machine. Didn't need to communicate with each other verbally, it's like they were all telepathic and knew exactly what each other wanted.
Only slight thing to mention was couldn't taste any vinegar on the chips but other than that it was lovely- chips nice and squishy.
They really need to update their online menu prices they are alot different then reality and its pre covid prices meaning the online menu hasn't been updated since before 2019 for example the when checking what they offer before going in haddock online price is £6.90 but in reality its £7.90 and online the chicken and doner kebab large is £7.90 in reality its £9.50 and what's worse I went there yesterday to get dinner and the bloke taking my order tried over charging by a total of £7.80
Ordered lunch special fish and chips for £4.50 (Feb 2023). I wasn’t expecting a huge piece of fish, but the fish was a decent size and freshly fried. Not a huge quantity of chips, but adequate for a lunch special, and very tasty. Definitely will visit again when visiting.
On our last night of our holiday we had fish and chips and chose Holbury fish bar to get them from. Delicious tasty fish, chips were perfect and friendly, helpful staff during these testing times. Thank you.

This place has the perfect customer service and perfect food, the gentleman and his staff have been amazing. Highly recommend.
Excellent chip shop, always wondered why they sometimes Q outside.
We stopped by on route to Calshot one day, (I drone film cruise ships hence always passing) mainly as they have good parking and I drive a silly large American pick up truck lol!! and its on the way, 5 mins to beach from here.
Food is really good, always a 5-10 min wait but price you pay for fresh cooked so no complaints.
But now if kids or wife aboard I'm ordered to stop off, which is fine but I'm tight as a ducks..... need fuel money..
But also to point out its far more than the average chippy the menu is huge, something for everyone.
I don't give 5 star that often and I'm a grumpy old tw.... so yes, recommend...

Update: still a fantastic chippy as of 18th June 2023...
Excellent chips and catering for all tastes! Highly recommend for a great meal to take to beach.
