I took my car there a few months ago for service and MOT and left a bit annoyed as I got charged a lot of money, but this is the reality of the work that needed doing. I thought twice about coming back but I work nearby and location is helpful so I came back as I had a bit of a concern with my car.
They took it in, did a diagnostics check and upon finding no fault the mechanic came out in the car for a drive with me to test it. He was able to assure me there was no issue and I left with no charge. I would have happily paid a small fee for diagnostics check as it is their time but they didn't charge me anything.
Everyone there is nice and friendly and I would definitely recommend. Maybe one bit of constructive feedback would be to verify cost when explaining over the phone. I received a call telling me the cost was one figure, and when I got there it was 20% more than that, so the cost I was given on phone was without vat. Worth confirming that I'd say. I'll be back for sure... But hopefully not soon. ????
We have used Heswall Motor Service for a few years for both our work vans and cars. They are a reliable and experienced team. 100% recommend. Just picked up my Volvo, now running like new!

I have been using this garage for quite a few years. I rate this garage highly. Today was MOT day and they were able to tighten up the bearing and saved me £200. I was delighted when I initially found this place as I recognised Reg who I remember as being super when he worked at another garage.
Very happy with car service completed within a few days request. All sorted in a few hours & the mechanic was very pleasant & helpful regarding a few other queries I had.

Wasn't over impressed with being messed around. Mechanics huffed and puffed over how big a job it was going to be to change flexi pipe on exhaust. They couldn't quote for the job and wanted me to leave my car with them for the foreseeable. Bad customer service. Poor response times and workmanship. I would avoid at all costs
Great service, would highly recommend! Had a problem with our car on the day we were going on holiday, and they fixed it within an hour for a lot lees than other garages were asking. Great local garage!
