I really enjoyed the Henley Road Pub,
Fantastic local history on the walls of the Thames area at North Woolwich.
The dartboard is excellent,
The carpet and decor is so well looked after.
The service and drink I had was really refreshing too
Friendly Barmaid, pretty friendly patrons.
Surprisingly enjoyable place. More than you'd think from outside.
My only quibble would be it could do with some better beers rather than just larger.s. perhaps thing of getting some stuff in from Greene King or Badger. I'd have given it a full 5 then.

LOVE the Henley Arms. Dave, fantastic, Amber, wonderful. All the staff, so friendly and accommodating. Great prices. Sunday roast, what can I say! Tasty, FULL plate, stuffed stomach, great value. As for the locals. Love them all. Carlos, Paul, Richard, Ron. So many more to list. All extremely welcoming. Thank you for making the 'foreigner' feel welcome back to his homeland and 'neck of the woods'. ????????
Very friendly, community pub with a lively community atmosphere. Food was no nonsense pub grub with a rather nice IPA to wash it down. We also used their overnight parking facility which felt safe and flexible. All in all the right place for us after a day on the motorway on a sweltering hot day.
A basic, friendly London boozer. I felt a bit strange to be drinking Timothy Taylor's Landlord in a London pub, but there ya go. The beer was top quality and at £4 a pint was very reasonably priced. The lady behind the bar sorted me out with some scampi and chips which was also very affordable. A great end to a tiring day. I would be happy to call this my local, but I guess I am unlikely to visit again.
