Beef and mushroom curry. Didn’t look or taste like beef. Didn’t even look like meat. Sauce was thick and gloopy. Phone service was brilliant. Delivery was quick and pleasant. To say the least food went in the bin and won’t use again

Very quick service .ordered for collection as was staying at the showground. Around 12 minutes away. Called when left and was ready when I got there. Big portions, bean curd with veg in black bean sauce was good. well seasoned. Still really hot by the time I got back with it. Vegetable spring rolls were really nice too. Slightly different to the usual ones most chinese sell. Would recommend and use again.

Used to be favourite Chinese in newark, used weekly as was lovely and fresh.
But ordered tonight 16/04/22 £32 worth of food, as a one off for my nan who was looking forward to the treat, spare ribs nothing but fat, chow mein greasy, stir fried mushrooms had a funny smell, rice stodgy, chicken balls gristly, can see why they’ve had a 1 star food rating put on, definitely not be using again
Rushed in out of breath needing a drink and dinner to take home after a workout session, was served promptly, lady was friendly and my BF said they've got the best prawn toast in Newark so far.
Disappointing!! Having ordered from this takeaway menu we have never been
disappointed in service or food.
However we won't be ordering in future as we weren't advised our food would be one hour late!!
When we took This up with delivery they said they would give us a refund which wasn't forthcoming!! As we feel we were excellent customers this is disappointing! As further promises of a refund weren't forthcoming we will no longer use or recommend this takeaway again. Very disappointed
