The Receptionists have always been a little curt, but when I needed an emergency appointment, I got a same day consultation. Repeat prescriptions do take a longer to be approved than is really expected. There are some places to improve, but overall, a good surgery.
When I moved here 4 years ago I was not at all impressed with the surgery.
But all that seems to have changed!
I am always contacted promptly after using Klinik and either seen by a doctor the same day or by phone.
Doctors and receptionists are friendly and polite which it very important when you aren't feeling well.
What is the point of having an online booking system that only works for a few hours a day and not at all during the weekend? In addition, it's now the middle of January so the Christmas message on the website can probably go now - this is representative of the poor management of the system.
Very good surgery. Receptionists polite and helpful. I have been a patient for many years and the receptionists are better now. Had no problem with Klinik. Had a response within half an hour.

I been going here since I was little and the service, especially receptionists has been consistently bad. In my 16 years of going to this GP I can’t remember one time that has been simple and successful. The new Klinik appointment booking system is terrible especially for women needing sexual advise/help and the response rate is appalling. Have made multiple emergency requests and have been completely ignored. Try to avoid this GP as much as possible
I have never been able to access Klinik on my iPad or phone Apple. Very frustrating when trying to sort out a request from hospital doctor! Surgery gave me a number which turned out to be Pals but they have limited opening times so lengthy wait on phone and no options for my query were given, what next? Receptionist was only following instructions but still remains unsatisfactory for patient? Any suggestions? Website still saying service suspended?
This is bad, just really bad. From a month to getting an appointment to cancelled appointments, to assigned GP being changed without notification to having useless contact technology...hard to think of a positive. It was only ever "acceptable", but since the reorganisation, it's now far from even that. I understand the cuts, etc. What I don't understand is the seeming lack of interest. Such a shame for the local community. I note also that they have disabled the communication/message option in the PatientAccess online service...guess fearful of what they might get. (Note: none of these comments are a reflection on any of the practitioners, though I think the practice manager probably needs to step up.).
Awful surgery! Receptionist phoned yesterday to ask if I could change my & babys 6 week check to 1 hour later. I did this but forgot to change in my diary so arrived 1 hr before then realised when I got there that I was 1 hr too early so killed time in the area. I returned for the later appointment and waited and still hadn't been seen to for 1 whole hour so asked the receptionist if there was a problem. She said the doc came out several times... no one called my name for the reschedualled appointment time. Then they have the cheek to say that it was my fault for checking in too early and that the doc can see me in another 2 hours time!!! 2 hours time is when my son has his sleep. Too hard being messed around like that with 3 kids. I'm sleep deprived and just felt like crying. I thought the 6 week check is supposed to check up on my mental health not test my mental health!?
Not my first problem with the surgery..... I would tell anyone considering registering to avoid this surgery, Pound House in Wooburn too!!
I was with my 3 children and 2 of them tired and irritable. The receptionist told me the doctor could see me 3 hours later. I explained 3 hours later is my sons sleep time.
