It is always busy, which is a good sign, we were on the beach so phoned through our order, got there at 5pm to find a queue outside waiting , I waited about 10mins to get to the front, said that I had phoned my order through, the ladles who were serving were very friendly and were quick to serve all that were waiting. The food was lovely, we had 2 fish , 3 chips, 1 steak and kidney pudding, curry sauce and mushy peas. All this for £21.60, brilliant value and the best we have tasted in a long while
Best fish and chips we have had in a very long time. Crispy chips, haddock was amazing and batter light and crispy, staff super friendly. A little gem.

Lovely little chippy.
The ladies behind the counter are very friendly and work hard.
You know the place is good when the customers are queuing outside 10 minutes before opening time.
The food was lovely, free scraps and hot and fresh.
They only take cash payments but there is a free cash machine 100 yards up the road at the post office.
Chips are too crispy

Waited a while for our food as it was busy. Sausafe and chips was nice, fish was very crispy a little over cooked so couldn't eat it, the chicken was also overcooked which made it very hard and dry so left most of that to, good portion size and staff.
We found the shop clean, staff friendly, very afficient,( I would say the fish did look over cooded,) But the fish and chips are very tasty, the fish very meaty. Thursday night and people queued outside the shop. ( that says they are good).
Visiting the area from North Wales and this is the best chippy we have had in years!! Gutted we live so far away!! Meaty fish in batter with a large portion of chips!! And absolutely gorgeous curry sauce!! 5 stars doesn't do it justice!!
