Good, traditional pub. No craft beers, but 70 shilling, tartan special and export are all the excellent.

Great wee pub good service reasonable prices

Harrow is a nice pub in Dalkeith. It's been there forever. The locals are friendly and I'd say it attracts the older clientele. Prices are pretty reasonable and always busy on the weekends. There is horse racing and football shown in here. Great wee local pub.

Never before have I been served an Anaemic Guinness. Warm, with a split tepid head and an atmosphere as dead as half of the customers.

I only had drinks at the bar. Its dog friendly. Staff are friendly. Prices are good. Quite basic 'old school' type place in my opinion.

I popped in here with a friend it used to be my local I'm dismayed & shocked The bar was crammed mostly elderly customers ( who traditionally don't spend much) the Dart board seems to have gone There used to be many young people ( bigger spenders) playing darts The pub had a team and home matches brought the cash in and similarly a Dominoes team

The lounge is dismal a shadow of its former self Shut down Thus used to be booked out for private functions ( being next to register office and churches) The carpets are filthy & worn The other upstairs room used to be hired for meetings All functions were catered for and food menus in the bar I don't know if the Harrow is just badly run or the owner has just given up I'd love feedback from the owner

Nice local pub in Dalkeith, good price's and good for watching football.

I have been at the Harrow for three months, everything is good. The cleaners do a great job and the proprietor is a professional and approachable man. They are currently making improvements throughout the hotel with a minimum of disturbance to the guests. Big hotels could learn a thing or two from the Harrow about how to make guests feel welcome and respected.
