Lovely friendly welcome on Saturday evening. Ordered cod and small chips with mushy peas. Lovely large portion of cod with crispy batter and the small portion of chips were the perfect amount. Chips tasted clean and not greasy, mushy peas lovely too. Shop looked clean and tidy, along with the range and behind counter. As a local business they do prefer cash due to high card charges but do accept card also. I enjoyed very much ???????? Would recommend
Lovely local fish and chip shop in the heart of Harlech. Reduced opening times currently. Few people waiting for their food when I arrived which is fine as fish cooked fresh when ordered.
Did not wait long to be served by a friendly chap with a lovely smile.
All three staff were very friendly and my order was taken and served up in no time at all.
Nice waiting area to stand whilst waiting for your order. Clean and tidy.
Would recommend ???? If possible cash is preferred due to costs of using chip and pin machine. However ok to use either.
What a Chippy food was fabulous and fresh . Ordered gluten free fish and chips (large one) kids portion is the small one. Just ring half hour before so gluten free can be cooked fresh. My treat on a week away it never disappoints. Price wise it is what it is and you definitely get a good feed .
Went here on our last night got fish and chips the fish was massive generous portion of chips and it was delicious quick service very clean and lovely staff definitely worth going to and we will be back in summer for more fish and chips ????

Thought I would treat the family with some fish and chips instead of cooking some pasta while camping. BIG MISTAKE!
The picture shows a large portion of chips which doesn't even come half way up the box. To make things worse the chips look grey and soggy. The fish batter was soggy and was a bit like peeling wet wall paper. No crispy batter here! There is a picture of the soggy batter. For this treat it cost £24 2large fish and chips and 2 kids fish and chips plus 20p for ketchup sachets. Ketchup sachets are so annoying.
Wish I had saved my money and had pasta. Kids wouldn't eat up and they aren't fussy eaters. Was like eating slimy batter.
Strangely even though I was the only one ordering in the shop he shouted out my order number and waited for me to find my ticket. He said he needed it and annoyingly I could not find it. He said after a minute it was OK. Customer service was frosty and slightly too serious for a chippy, no jokes or light hearted chat here.
AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT AND AVOID THIS PLACE. Stick to your own cooking.

Went twice this week for fish and chips while staying in the caravan park down the hill, both times didn’t disappoint! Massive fish for £7 and very tasty chips, a good treat for a tenner a head. We always look forward to going back when we stay in Harlech!
Visited twice in a week for Gluten free fish and chips, to be turned away on both occasions. Why advertise gluten free options and have them on your menu if they aren’t available.
Luckily we went down the road to the Caddy Cafe, where they had gluten free options available with very friendly and helpful staff.
