Such a lovely Pub in the cottage. Service is impeccable and always smiling and helpful. Nice selection of tap beers and food is really nice!
Finally found a pub in the area serving food on a Monday! Nice typical pub grub. Made an effort to feed the kids too offering them chicken nuggets and chip etc that wasn't listed on the menu. Lots of board games to keep the family entertained. Shame the beer garden didn't have a little play area for the children. Nice decor and friendly, cheerful service
Excellent food and service, with comfortable room and also a beer garden outside. The food is generous and very good. Typical English dishes. Friendly service and kid friendly place with board games.

Lovely bar food for our lunch. Friendly and helpful barmaid. The place was empty and the garden furniture could do with a bit of a spruce up... got a splinter from the table when I passed my other half the salt... but I can see the potential for it being a good local buzz when it's busy. Will definitely try it again over an evening.

My wife and I decided to go for an afternoon pint/vodka on Tuesday 3rd October 23. As we were out by the Hare & Hounds, we thought we would give it a try. We are glad we did. We had a very warm welcome from the young lady behind the bar. Her name is Wendy. A few other people arrived, and we had a very nice afternoon with some of the regular's of the pub. Needless to say we had to call a taxi home. We will definitely return to this pub. Thank you Wendy.
I visited here for a family meal as we are visiting the area for a few days, we all couldn’t of been happier to choose this pub, fantastic meal, fantastic service for a great price. Would 100% recommend.
