Went into happy daze on a whim with my partner, we both had a sundae and got a ice cream for our dog.
The sundaes were delicious (really generous with toppings and sauce, they had dog ice cream and a wide variety of items on the menus, including hot chocolates, waffles and some themed treats like iron man ice cream. I wish I took a proper photo of the ice cream sundae before I started to eat it ????
The decor inside was also fun and tasteful as it had that retro vibe and the staff were really friendly.
They even did me a Reecees sundae instead of a waffle.
I couldn't recommend them any higher and will be going back in the future.
Stopped in during the Hartlepool Tall Ships Festival. As it was a busy day with rain off and on they only offered window service. It was the only place that had a great variety of options to include hard scoop flavors. Service was fast as they keep the line moving. And I could see kids enjoying all the unique options for ice cream treats. They also offer other options for beverages.
Stopped in today with my partner and dog, huge variety of different ice creams to choose from including lactose free and dog safe ice cream. The staff where very friendly aswell.
£13.95 for 2 milkshakes...really!!!!! Wasn't thick enough to be classed as a shake. Won't be back as far to expensive for what it was! Milk.
Happy Days ? The lady serving wasn't happy the ice cream was tasteless you expect places like this to taste better than a bog standard McFlurry but it just wasn't for the money paid and the service provided we will not be returning as a family one thing I can say good about the place is the quirky interior but that's it really.
Quite limited in choice and flexibility as we'd made the mistake of buying a groupon voucher and they won't let you upgrade to a sundae if youve got a waffle. Not sure why you couldn't pay more and upgrade. What we had in the end was nice but way too sweet
A really quaint place for an ice-cream or waffles, tea or coffee with a 50's & 60's decor. With the old fashioned booths to sit in with a jukebox front on every table and records and posters on the wall from that era. The best public toilets I have been in for a long time, spotlessly clean and tidy and smelling nice for a change. Friendly young girl was on when we visited and playing some great music from the same decades. Well worth a visit and that's coming from a middle aged rocker and his wife. A real eye opener, would visit again when in the area. Come and see for yourself.
