Bought some petrol and paid. Went to drive off but the car gave a red light warning and refused to start. PANIC!
Very helpful lady at the till introduced me to her manageress...Wendy. Another very helpful lady whose 'magic' touch got things started again.
So, if you want service with a smile, and knowledgable staff, I thoroughly recommend paying a visit to the bypass road Gulf service station, Ebbw Vale. Thank you everybody. Very impressive and a well-deserved 5 stars from me.
Easy access in and out and best of all is the competitive price for diesel. I stopped going to Tesco and Morrisons petro station. They also introduced points system, which provides extra 2p discounts. Highly recommended in the area if Ebbw Vale.

Gulf petrol station has 8 pumps with both Diesel and petrol fuel. There is a shop which is a good convenience store where you can also get hot coffees.
My husband and I went in there earlier today and was served by a lady with blonde hair who has the absolute worst customer service I've ever seen, and today isn't the first time. We go there just purely to do our lotteries and buy scratch cards, as we don't drive and hardly ever spend less than £20, and this woman just tuts and makes it seem that she is being inconvenienced by us spending our money. Horrible experience every time she is serving.
