Rude, arrogant and disrespectful receptionist
Never been to this casino chain before so I walked in expecting to just be allowed straight through (the main gate was open and I’ve only been to local casinos not chain ones) and then was shouted at being told that you can’t just walk in so I asked if she had to see my ID as I’m only 20 and understood why I would have to show her
Instead of gently correcting me this Edna Mode lookalike sneered at me and told me only members are allowed in like we were in some LA high-class casino
Further on this when I left after apologising for the misunderstanding (as there’s no signs stating a membership needs to be owned) she scoffed and muttered under her breath
This rudeness and disrespectfulness is not just shown in my review but a few others on this page and it seems to be the same person everytime
You need to fire her or atleast give her a disciplinary on why what she’s doing is wrong and set her straight?
Or better yet just let her retire
We visited at the weekend for my birthday. The staff were exceptional from the manager to the door staff. Everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We even had a cheeky toasty at 1am and a little win on the tables too. Thank you so much!
What a disgrace?!! My husband and I arrived at 12.30am after a nice evening with friends in the city. Queued up, signed in, only then to be told by security he wasn’t going to allow our entry. We questioned why, he wouldn’t tell us, and we were told the manager would be 35-40mins. Rather than wait we booked a taxi. Whilst we waited for our cab, the manager came out and was equally as unhelpful. She said no matter what we said we wouldn’t be allowed in tonight. Still no reason given. The way we were treated was disgusting and we will NOT be returning to a Grosvenor Casino ever again. You lose.
Friendly casino, parking outside, small, but not overly busy
Came to trial as I am a recent fan of China Town casino. Was a little shocked to find out your 'play' tickets couldn't be moved between casinos only the actual grosvenor card. Due to this had to spend more money but the manager was very nice and got us 2 drinks (soft drinks are free)
I attempted to load my 20 pounds from the card to my machine only forit to fail and take my 20 pounds. Staff on hand were more than helpful and refunded me my lost 20.
Large spacious area with private dining are guests who want to eat. Lower floor for table games and lots of slots and electronic machines. Real American casino vibes

I was playing poker here in 2016 and put my reg in for parking as usual. I still got a parking ticket though so I rang the casino and gave them the reference. They said it would be dealt with don't worry about it.
Then in early 2021 I get a letter demanding hundreds of pounds or face balif action. It was from this being unpaid and they refused to help at all.
The concert room for the Elvis (who was brilliant) was very poorly lit and on stage and when he was interacting you couldnt see properly which spoiled it.The bolton venue is far superior but the staff were great.( salfold grosnover).
