Die Kaminbar hat keine Atmosphäre mehr. Statt eines echten Feuers schlängeln die Flammen auf einem Bildschirm. Die ganzen Kabel liegen auf dem ehemaligen Cheminé Sims. Hotelgäste schauen lautstark Filme auf ihrem Laptop. So kommt sicher keine Stimmung auf. Auf keinen Fall zu empfehlen.
The ambience is good and you’ll have a nice view if they seat you by the window. Unfortunately, they won’t welcome you as warm as you expected from a restaurant which needs a reservation. The only professional and friendly warm waiter is the tall-white man. Not being racist but they did it to us and any other guests. They checked time to time to certain guest (favoritism) not to all guests. We ordered cheese fondue which is not worthy and Thai Curry is okay and still water for 9 CHF.

We arrived and wasn’t the nice tasty cuisine as expected but my fault for not checking.
We ordered 3 schnitzel 1 Thai curry 1 risotto.
French waiter brought the risotto on a super hot plate ( carried it with a napkin ) and handed it to one of the guests, even after me telling him to go around and that person hesitating, the person felt pressured in taking it and bruned their fingers, I immediately went after him to let him bring some ice, their was no apology, shame on you, think what your mum would say mr Frenchman.
About the food :
Schnitzel was incredible thin like 3mm at best( I know it should be thin but there was almost no meat and they curled upwards nicely. Obviously super dry. Then they throw salad on the warm schnitzel, makes it soggy and unpleasant, after asking the waitress ( she was good ) she explained she doesn’t know why someone would put salad on hot food. The Thaicurry was blend and the risotto didn’t had rice and stuck to the plate so that you could lift the plate and turn it around. Lucky you guys we didn’t took photos. Target a next door is more robust but incredibly tasty. Go there.
Its not olny a dinner but real Swiss dinning experience full of stories from locals and great atmosphere.
The food was great. Oliver was the host. He really had a bunch of great stories to tell. We had raclette, and it was really good especially with the fire being so comfortable.
We had our first 5 star experience in a Wengen restaurant!
Salad buffet ...... good choice, good quality.
Tagliatelle ...... loved it!
Vegetable curry ..... my loved the fact that the curry sauce came seperately so she could put as much or little as she wanted.

Nous avons vécu notre première expérience 5 étoiles dans un restaurant de Wengen ! Buffet de salades...... bon choix, bonne qualité. Tagliatelles......j'ai adoré ! Curry de légumes..... ma femme a adoré le fait que la sauce au curry soit venue séparément pour qu'elle puisse en mettre autant ou peu qu'elle le souhaitait. Servi sur des assiettes chaudes !! ❤❤❤❤❤????
如果是冬天來，應該會很好，可借我是夏天來，不要被官網那相片誤導，小木屋空間其實很少，而且圍住火爐坐，怕熱的人真的不建議來。
晚餐價錢為每人75CHF,只有3道菜，頭盤是大大碟沙拉，主菜只是用幾個小碗裝著煙肉，蕃茄，蒜蓉，磨菇，酸青瓜和菠蘿，還有一大盤芝士，要自己將食材放在爐邊加熱，待芝士溶化，再配麵包/薯仔一齊食，味道是不錯，不過對於整晚只食這些東西，或對芝士興趣不大的，真的會有些受不了。第3道菜是蘋果批，味道普通。晚餐包酒水，但如果不是很飲得，其實都不是太化算。
小屋只可容納12人，如果人數不夠，可以和其他人併桌用餐，如果喜歡認識新朋友，都是一個好的體驗。
今次是帶著父母來，他們不能吃太多芝士，而且我覺得有被官網誤導，完全沒有一張食物的相可以在官網內看到，我在Google看到別人分享的相，是有一塊塊肉的，所以一心以為可以吃得飽，但結果很失望，難道要吃麵包和薯仔吃飽？
之後我看到酒店內其他的餐廳，價錢都只是55CHF，就已經有4道菜，雖然沒包酒水，但起碼都是可以吃得飽。
如果有小朋友，我不建議來，因為他們會討厭火爐令他們很熱，而且小孩的收費並不是半價，以我4大2小為例，埋單要400CHF,實在不便宜，而且可以有其他更好的選擇。
I wanted to love it, but the food was just okay. It seemed like each dish we tried was good enough but missing something. Service was great and we had a pleasant enough experience, but not enough to go back during our week in Wengen.
