Food was awful. Chips like they had been reheated very hard. Fish bites batter stuck to paper and was none existent by time got on to plate. The fish itself was was possibly the worst cut or scraps just battered. Reasonably priced, just not worth the money.
mmm. chips lovely. and the rock was best I've tasted and so was partners cod . food was so hot freshly cooked batter was best tasted crispy golden. fish was amazing no soggy batter inside like normally get from other places
Lovely people , sadly oil slick on a plate wasn't what I ordered. Batter so thin and sticky with oil it came off on the paper. We used 4 pieces of kitchen roll to drain excess grease off the fish and chips .and it left a slick on our plates, really dissapointed we won't be back . Cost a fortune to just throw in the bin

Avoid! Ordered cod and chips, plus battered sausage. Chips were absolutely soaked in oil, the sausage was inedible.
The fish was ok, but again the batter was very oily. Had this for dinner and spent £14. Would not recommend. Could do a much better job seeing as it's really local to Summerfields!
Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Staff very friendly and chatty. Service was quick, food was good! Fish tasted great, chips were okay. The price wasn't ridiculous either. Overall, a good chippy ????
This chippy is one of the best I've been to, I've had a half pound burger and chips and my girlfriend had chicken bites, all of which was amazing. The staff were really friendly and service was good. I'm finding the other reviews difficult to believe. I personally would recommend. It's within close proximity of summerfield holiday park and we've been twice since there isn't one on site and had excellent service. The prices I believe were really good aswell.
Chips were absolutely disgusting. Absolutely soaked in oil, barely cooked and looked very anemic.
Fish was ok but very oily from the chips.
Extremely overpriced for such a disappointing meal.
Definitely would not recommend.
