My wife and I called in for breakfast this morning. The staff allowed us to select items that weren’t on their menu list and they did this without any fuss or bother and their customer service was outstanding. The speed of making cappuccinos was remarkable, so quick and they were fab. Highly recommend this as a lovely place to eat after a great walk in the grounds. Pete

£3.60 for small & £3.95 for a "large" cappuccino in a takeaway cup.
Whilst waiting at the counter we heard they had run out of hash browns and it looked like they were low on most other breakfast items. Never mind, we just wanted coffees. I've never seen anyone serve so slowly. It wasn't even busy. Simply very slow service.
After queueing up for a long time with no sign of the queue moving I gave up and went elsewhere, less than 2 minutes away in the courtyard.
I was so pleased the Graze had pushed us to try the other one where the coffee was £2.80, our order taken immediately and brought to our table in proper cups along with the food we'd found so enticing.
£4 for a small Americano coffee is more than what I paid in London last week! Service was quite slow, and no signs up with the prices either, otherwise I’d have gone elsewhere if I’d known how much I’d pay before they rung it up on the till… Would recommend going elsewhere
The prices have increased very much recently. £12.15 for 2 black coffees in a paper cup and one piece of cherry slice.
I had to ask if the server had made a mistake.
Could buy the equivalent with porcelain cups in national coffee franchises at motorway services for less than £10.
Normally go to the bakery/cafe next door but it was closed when we went. Usually spend just over £7 for 2 coffees and a tea cake in the bakery.
Very expensive for a basic woodland cafe. Paid £4.95 for a small (dry) toffee cake and £3.60 for a small American in a paper cup. No prices up for cakes and snacks, so was unaware until the cashier rung it up at the till. I think we'll take a flask next time!
Great for what it is. It's an entry level cafe, closer to a snack bar. But for that category it's great. Entry both inside the stables courtyard and outside. Don't go expecting table service, and or restaurant quality meals. It's really for average priced, quick, light bites whilst exploring the Haigh estate. Loads of indoor and outdoor seating, generally clean, light and well ventilated, with decent scenic atmosphere. Can get VERY busy. Remember theres a parking charge as well.
Absolutely disgusting how they can charge £4.00 for chips. And £4.50 for 2 pieces of bread and cheese what a shame wont visit again. The chips were dry.
We have been a few times, but feel the food choices have dropped off more recently. The sandwich choices are poor and basic. The kids sandwich’s are on thick doughy bread, and the fruit always looks past it best. No child wants a black banana, and oranges instead of satsumas?? Strange choice for a child!
For the price, I just feel there could be better options. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not expecting cordon Bleu food, but just think the variety needs assessing
