I took my family to this establishment some time ago for a celebration and have not been back since. The service and food was very good so no complaints there, bit pricey but generally to a decent standard and the location was also nice. Everything was good until it came time to pay and the owner presented the card machine. He seemed to have some problem with our table and came out with some derogatory comments bordering on rude (I am not sure why this was as we were not causing any problems during our visit). I paid for the food but decided then and there that we would not be back due to the attitude problem encountered.
Amazing food. Sunday lunch is huge. They dont have a licence, so bring your own bottles ( do have soft drinks ) lots of space, limited tables. You do have to book
Absolutely gorgeous food. Staff are so friendly and attentive. My favourite today was definately the trifle, it has got to be the best I have ever tasted honestly. I spoke to the staff and the chef cooks everything from scratch and you can really tell. Outstanding food. Thanku and next time I'm up from Kent I'm 100% booking a table. Thanku ❤️ xxx
Truly amazing Sunday roast, beef and chicken, served on large wooden boards in the centre of your table with lots of vegetables, superb gravy, Yorkies and some of the best skirlie I’ve tasted. Choice of two delicious desserts. Huge portions and they happily give you a container to take any leftovers home and enjoy. Very nice staff, a lovely restaurant, accessibility for everyone as it’s one level and parking at the door. 10/10
We liked the look of the menu, so we booked a Friday night dinner. It was a perfect evening. The food, service and location were excellent. Lovely evening. We will definitely return and highly recommend it!

Scones .... So, so delicious - I had a cheese and chive one and brought a blueberry one home. The menu is what I consider lite bites served in the cafe from a Wed- Sun 10 - 3 ( I think last orders are at 2pm) the restaurant is open in the evenings, bookings are advisable, I tried to book but there was a 3 week wait!!!! The staff are lovely, the owner very polite and professional.
Excellent. We had the three course set menu evening dinner and it was faultless. Our party of 5 would all say the same. One of us is gluten free and had a range to select from on all three courses. Service was great. Value spot on. BYO drinks.
