We got Salt & Pepper chips, salt & pepper chicken and egg fried rice. We got 1 of each and it fed 2 people. Great portions and best of all amazing flavours. By far one of the best salt & pepper chips I've tried. I don't normally write reviews just had to do it for this place because it was that good.
Food is okay, but waiting times are horrendous! Not made a large order and was told half an hour . While sitting waiting listening to the girl taking orders over the phone , telling people it will be an hour and a half at least , sorry they're really busy
Should employ more chefs on weekends and Bank Holidays!

Just moved here from London. This is my nearest Chinese takeaway. Just ordered £113 of food. As family was visiting.
It was fantastic!!! Such a large order and nothing was missing. Everything was spot on. Hot delicious food. No complaints from the adults or children ????. Service was fantastic too.

A wide choice of items on the menu. We have tried a few over a year and they have all been good, some better compared to other Chinese takeaways we have used. Kung po chicken, egg fried rice, pork chow mein, sweet and sour pork, was a good choice. The containers are full. Have screens and keep contact risk low for virus transmission. Prices are comparable to other takeaways, but cheaper than takeaways from restaurants. Will definitely continue to use the Golden Valley.

Normally this Chinese is 10/10 no complaints,chicken chow mein is normally my favourite dish. I don’t know if there has been a change in circumstances like a new chef or something but the food we recieved last night was below par. Also our chips were missing which we paid for. Very disappointing as this Chinese was our go to
