We tried this Chinese after a couple of not so brilliant experiences at our usual establishment, well what can I say the customer service from the man behind the counter was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent, I've just found our new Chinese takeaway
We’ve have had this Chinese twice now to try it when our local one in Portishead is closed. The first time we had one - it was ok. Second time we found the noodles in our chowmeins to be very watery and not tasting that good. Staff are friendly and welcoming however I would say a lot of the dishes are overpriced for the quality of food.
Ordered a takeaway on Tuesday. Beef curry was in my opinion microwaved to heat up. It looked and tasted like old food that was frozen moments before delivery. Ill never understand why people don't serve fresh food, it will mean you just shop elsewhere. It's counter productive to any business isn't it?!
First time order, had the meal for one. Loads of beef,peppers and onions. Chicken balls were nice with sweet and sour,chips fresh and egg fried rice not dry like other places. Definitely order again
Lovely food, friendly people, lovely setting.
For sure a case of not judging a book by the cover. Ignore the old school Chinese takeaway looks, the food here is really good. The pork and prawns were top notch, well prepared and full of flavour. The seaweed is some of the best I've had outside expensive restaurants. Good portions, decent value, really friendly staff too.
If you are in this neck of the woods you'd be mad not to at least once.
Why an amazing little takeaway, family owned and run, wide choice of food and perfect service. We stayed locally and visited twice during our stay, thank you , you deserve the business.
Great takeaway Chinese. Possibly not the cheapest around but worth the extra. Monster prawns in my chow mein tonight! Recommend trying the dumplings.
