• First time using this Chinese, my favourite and usual thing to have elsewhere, is a pot of satay sauce with some other main. Unfortunately it wasnt my favourite take on it, as the satay dishes are listed on the menu as being hot and spicy and the sauce was indeed very spicy which wasn't to my liking and familiarity of what it should taste like.
I've always had satay sauce elsewhere which has been creamy, peanuty, sweet and with only slight hints of spice to bring out the flavours, it is definitely not a sauce that should be on the hot and spicy section - but hey what do i know ???? - personal preference!

Up there with the nicest chinese I've had in a while. The food is coock to order and has a very good flavour. Good level of spice too. I will definitely go back.
I have found it is a good improvement the last two times I have used it for me. It's not greasy or over cooked in fact I'm struggling to find anything bad to comment about. It's always been very fast even when I'm waiting in a que I always phone my order and the staff are polite and honest with time my meal will be ready to collect. All all I can recommend you won't be disappointed in anything you ordered. It's definitely improved over the past few months hopefully you will find this useful

Said I couldn’t have Singapore fried rice with curry which I’ve had for the last 5 weeks!!!!!
Then said I could but charged £28.50 instead of £25.40 which is what I’ve paid for the last few weeks!!
Won’t be using again!! Very bad treatment of a regular customer!!
My family and I have been a customer for 20 years.
The food is always good.
They have often made me a vegetable chow mein, which is not on the menu. We always appreciated this as the people cooking the food could have said that they wouldn't do it.
It is lovely that you get fortune cookies with your meal at Chinese New year.
The staff are always very polite.
Food wasn't great, no flavour, not a lot of meat in the dishes overall not a good meal..also cash only service. It used to be good but can't say I'll return.
The range of food on the menu is wide enough to make sure everyone can find something they'd like but the downside is there's inconsistency with what you'll get. The chefs seem to change regularly and the same dish can often taste very different (eg the beef in black pepper sauce can go from fiery to bland as you like) plus it's always a gamble if they bother to read your order - asking for any variation in ingredients, eg 'no veg' is often a waste of breath even when the person taking the order has read it back to you! I've genuinely given up getting home, discovering a mistake, calling them to be told 'very sorry, we'll give you a free x, y or z next time you come' as, 100% guaranteed, if you mention it the next time you go they'll look at you blankly, rummage through a few lose notes then tell you they've no idea what you're on about. The food & portion sizes aren't bad don't get me wrong, I've eaten far worse & it's busy enough, but there's certainly room for a lot of improvement.
I've had take aways from here on a number of occasions and more so since lockdown. The food is always ready promptly and is tasty and fresh. Only gripe is that they're cash only which involves having to swing past the co-op to get money out ????
