Great takeaway - all in the party enjoyed their choices, duck, pork, beef and pork. Egg fried rice and prawn crackers. Cost for 4 was £37! A bargain for what we had. Would recommend and go again if in the area.
Mr Mitchell is the nicest person alive. I drove here after a long hike nearby, was very hungry and had a 3hr drive ahead. When I couldn't pin and couldn't transfer through my Dutch bank, he decided to give me the feed. For free. Mr Mitchell, I owe you big time. If you are ever in the Netherlands, I will repay you! Thank you so much for being a good person :)
Tonight 05Nov2022, I ordered Prawn Crackers, Stir Fried King Prawn with ginger and spring onions, boiled rice and Prawn Crackers. Tasty food. Good portions as well. Great staff. I highly recommend Golden House Takeaway!
Great food, excellent service, very fast.
Family thought it was probably the best Chinese food they’d had! Great to take back to campsite for tea. Would definitely go back. (Reviewed by kids!)
My wife and I both had take away meals and they were excellent.
Service was quick and you certainly get plenty, great portion sizes.
Overall really pleased.
Just be aware that cards are not accepted, cash only. This is no trouble as long as you know in advance.
We decided to stop for food as the road into banchory from ours is blocked at the moment. The food was ready very quickly. It was very greasy and the prawn crackers were soft & soggy, we wouldn't go back or recommend this Chinese to others.
Absolutely amazing food. Was hugely surprised but it was the best Chinese I've had in years. Curry sauce was flavorful, egg rolls cooked perfectly, vegetables were so well cooked and the ingredients all seemed very good.
