A wonderful walk around Loch Morlich. Took around 2hrs to walk all the way around. Some slight inclines but nothing strenuous.
Parked at the visitor centre and stopped at the cafe after for coffee and cake. Lovely coffee and very dog friendly (despite previous review saying otherwise).
Highly recommend
A lovely spot with helpful and knowledgeable staff even at this quiet time of year, Feb. Good café for a well earned hot drink at the end of a walk. Wonderful, well signed walks from the Centre for all levels of fitness.
Good place to explore and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Glorious sunshine helps too. Try the Glenmore visitor centre Cafe. (Cobbs) . Staff excellent and attentive. Great food - high quality and very reasonable. Had their special meal - see photo. Very nice. Recommended.
Arrived at lunchtime, paid £3 to park and walked up the path . . . cafe closed. Walked to the visitor centre to ask where to find a cafe: no staff to be seen. Were they having a toilet break? No sign to say. So, no cafe, no information staff and a waste of a parking ticket. How long would it take to put a notice in the car park next to the ticket machine? Other people we spoke to also very disappointed in the bad service. Not a good look for our tourists.
Cobbs cafe is a great wee place to eat , or , to stop for cake and coffee. Good vegetarian and vegan options. Even vegan and gluten-free cakes!
There are disabled toilets and parking as well as wheelchair access.
Thank you Kevin !
Always a pleasure to see you.
Great location views are great beach is a bonus nice site clean site nothing but praise , however the let down for us was no internet no wifi no tv signal .
Lovely information stand with binoculars and a sightings book (but no pen unfortunately). Cobbs cafe was great - delicious food and friendly staff.
We have been coming here on holiday for over 40years, it is so very beautiful and peaceful. However with so many people looking for somewhere to go in the UK it is becoming a victim of its own success. This year it was very crowded in areas you would normally find a fraction of the numbers we saw last week. Please respect it and don't spoil it if you do visit.
