Nice chippy will be calling again when possible.
Had what was the very worst fish and chips I have ever had today!! The fish was OK, ( small ) but the chips were disgusting!! - not even warm, terrible texture and awful taste. They did not even have salt and vinegar, as I requested! They came in a box and was a very small portion - literally like a handful and a half of what you would get in traditional newspaper!
The place looked good and service quick, but honestly the chips were terrible - and I am not a fussy eater!!!!
Best Fish and chips I've ever tasted. The whole place is spotlessly clean, staff and service are top notch and the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Highly recommended.
Haven't been here for a while, glad I did, the fish and chips were cooked to perfection plus really tasty curry sauce and mushy peas, highly recommended
Have you changed ownership? Today your usually very nice food was frankly awful, apparently you no longer serve pukka pies, obliviously because your serving a cheaper ( not to the customer) pudgy version, also the hollands S & K pudding wasn't hollands as it tasted awful and had no meat in it (cheaper copy?) Used to be a dedicated repeat customer, but won't be back for your cold cheap food.
Food, especially the fish, tastes great, good size portions and friendly staff. My favourite fish & chip shop.
Always lie about the time you have to wait.Reheated,chips,the fish is about the worst I've ever had,threw the lot to the seagulls.will never shop at this place again. First time,the fish was not even cod. Never learned my lesson from first visit.certainly have this time.give it a wide birth from now on.not even worth one star.
