Paid £3 for this and there’s practically nothing in there I’ve been to plenty of fish and chip shops where I get triple this for half the price not pleased about the value for money and to make matters worse they were not cooked all the way through I was tasting hard potato on some and then crispy and burnt on others not happy with the food only bonus is that I was served relatively quick
Keen to try as partner is gluten free and not many options around. Unfortunately the gluten free cod had chewy batter, not at all crispy.
Both our chips were very soft outside and firm inside, almost undercooked or cooked in too cold oil.
Sausages are as generic and cheap as possible with an unseasoned pink/grey soft filling that had a very mushy texture.
Bread rolls were cold burger buns, not a massive issue just odd to be cold.
Paid £27 which is more than our usual in gravesend (Reliance) which offers a superior experience unfortunately.
Based on the other reviews maybe it was just rare occasion but very underwhelmed and expensive for very poor to average fish and chips.
Can’t fault the service though!
To the person who works in here with the blue BMW, I'm not sure why you feel you are entitled to park where you want everyday? Constantly parking outside in the customer bays or even outside the co-op and just leaving your car there all day! Why not just park on Denver Rd or Knole Rd (There's plenty of spaces), Parking is a struggle as it is and your actually preventing possible customers for your own business as they won't come in if they cant park.............
The gluten free cod and chips very good. Well worth a try if you have allergies.
Great gluten-free haddock and chips. Sometimes we order gluten-free onion rings too. Recommend this fish and chip shop if you are gluten intolerant.
The best fish and chips by far. Super authentic and delicious, gluten free is a great choice available too! 100% recommend and would definitely not go anywhere else!
Wow! Gorgeous fish and chips. Rock was cooked to perfection as were the chips. Partner opted for a Pukka pie with curry sauce as he’s from “up north@????. We don’t get anything if this quality where we live (France) so it was a real treat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will return soon.
Gluten free fish and chips to die for! Finding coeliac-friendly takeaway food is very difficult, but this was absolutely delicious, not too greasy and cooked to perfection. Thank you so much!
