Lovely gelato ice cream and waffles. I just got a scoop of coconut and it was amazing.. I also got a dog ice cream but it was frozen so took it home and the dog ate it then. There was a long queue to get served as its very popular but worth the wait.
Great and wide selection of ice creams, although the salted caramel I had last time was very bland. They also do general meals as well. Nice clean toilets. We love the ban on dogs, like many we dislike dogs in restaurants and cafes. Partly because of this we've become semi regulars here.
The ice cream is delicious with a wide range of flavours. We used the take away facility and had to queue for a while so service score suffered a little, also probably due to how busy it was the staff were more concerned with rushing customers through rather than the customers overall experience. Can't comment on atmosphere as used take away entrance
Previously named Fusciardi's, Gelato Famoso offers sit in or take away ice cream... you can order sundaes and there is a menu.
We've had the cones and the ice cream was nice. A decent variety offered...
Have passed this place so many times over a 15 year period, but as we've always had b and b we're usually too full up from breakfast, and by time we get back from day out its closed!!...but we made it this time without grandson...its bigger inside than I thought and cosy warm nice atmosphere and waffles are huge!! Had the orio ice cream waffle..delicious ????
Spotted the massive queue as I was walking along the sea front and joined it. Looks like the best ice cream place in Eastbourne. the ice cream was incredible even with it being a hot day and so it melted quickly. Would recommend the mango sorbet and banana ice cream.
To be honest, it is a gelato that is at least one of the seaside tourist place. There is no special taste for individual gelato, but if you eat it as a parfait, there will be a huge difference. If you go to the beach with gelato anyway, gelato will be melted. Therefore, it is recommended to eat parfait at the store.!
