Everything is banging about Gary's fish n chips, timing if u knew about traditional chippys is bang on everything I c so far is freshly cooked n cooked perfectly. We r going again 2day, 2nd time n we know the Times it's says everywhere Sundays n Mondays close Tuesdays 2 Saturdays 12pm to 530pm all for under £20 for 2of us so good luck ???? n enjoy Gary's fish n chips ????
Dropped in last Friday as we were in the area, ordered two large fish and chips, and they were massive which we thoroughly enjoyed. We knew Gary when he worked in the Golden Fillet and noticed the difference when he left, so when we are in Clacton we head for the best fish and chips in town.
Just had fish and chips from here, the best I have had for a very long time. Well done Eugene and the chef.
Pure quality, probably the best Fish & Chips around. Friendly happy smiling staff. Good quality food at value prices. The portions are large

Ordered pie and chips. The chips were lovely but the pie was barely warm. I wasn't impressed. I've had the battered cod before and that was very nice but I won't be ordering any more pies. Linda

Would highly recommend quality of food is 2nd to none. Service is great .
First time we have used Gary's fish and chip shop and I have to say it was spot on. No grease on fish or chips, service and staff were great and the food was delicious. This will definitely be our regular chippy.
Was passing Gary's Fish and chip shop yesterday in coppers lane
been fancing chips all week so called in and ordered small chips open £2.00
They came in a open type box with a large wooden fork
