Visited perfume section, where there were 2 assistants. We were TOLD they only stocked 3 mains brands.
Quite condescending, suggesting we went to "Savers" to buy Clinique Aromatic Perfume.
Left feeling as if we weren't the right customer to "fit" the Cirencester scene.
Very disappointed. Assistants need to brush up on customer skills, and be more approachable !!
Stopped off in Cirencester on our way to the Cotswolds and discovered this lovely store,a real treasure trove of old school perfumes,cosmetics and high quality sea sponges! Just wish we had something like this place a little closer to home.
An outstanding independent pharmacy in Cirencester. Knowledgable staff, especially Peggy in the dispensary who’s very switched on and helpful. It’s these personal touches that makes Hortons the only place we’ll go for prescriptions, flu and travel vaccinations, and general health and well-being products.
Thank you so much for letting me bolt in at 5.30pm to collect my prescription yesterday. I know how annoying it is when your trying to get home after a long day, I am so grateful as I had mislaid the last batch of my medication!! You are always all so helpful and professional, the best pharmacy in Cirencester by far ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Staff member at pharmacy counter extremely patronising & condescending.
After explaining my issue (one I am unfortunately extremely prone to and had many of, over my life time, so know the early signs well!) I was briefly examined and looked at, bemused, by the member of staff, being told, as if I was a silly child, that something had probably gone into my finger.
I didn't want to get into a debate about the matter, or come across myself as patronising, towards this staff member, who obviously is very opinionated, so wouldn't have listened anyway. I still needed and insisted I wanted a product, for the issue I knew I had. This member of staff then preceded to seek out the pharmacist I presume, towards the back, but still in plain sight, relaying to her, my predicament, but half way though, went quiet & preseeded to mouth, to the pharmacist, her own thoughts. Unfortunately for her, I saw it all in a reflection.
I have since, returning from my holiday, been to my doctor and had it confirmed, that I do NOT have anything IN my finger and because I didn't act quickly, I have two others now appearing next to the original. Great!
Just a note to you - People occasionally know their own bodies better than you believe you do, especially after having years of experience with the issue. Furthermore, I didn't appreciate the unprofessional mannor I recieved whilst in this store.
Wonderful pharmacy, they're all so kind and thoughtful. They go above and beyond to help, I'm so grateful. They're always calm and generous with their time, despite, I imagine being under pressure given the current climate and time of year. They really value everyone, thank you.
This is the best pharmacy I have ever known. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a great atmosphere of how early pharmacies used to be. I have always received great service here and would Highly Recommend it. ????
This pharmacy and the pharmacist helped me in the biggest way this morning. I battle with pain and other neurological issues and my usual pharmacy has not been ordering nor delivered my much needed medication on time. (This was the 7th time) This morning the pain and withdrawal already started and due to many complications with getting my electronic prescription back from previous pharmacy, I ended up at Hortons Pharmacy. I am so glad I did. The pharmacy team helped me profoundly and issued my very time-sensitive medication. I broke down in tears of relief when I left. Where some pharmacies in the area were unable to help me, the team at Hortons issued my Meds without me feeling more helpless and hopeless I did at the time. ‘Thank you’ seems to small for the help and assistance I received. Thank you very much.
I managed to change pharmacies to Hortons with my GP shortly after being helped by these kind ladies. It might sound ott to other readers, but I think and believe you might have literally saved my
Life. Thank you. R
