We were down in North Devon last week (early March and pretty much out of season) and whilst in Woolacombe popped in Fudgies for a couple of pasties. I must say, the best pasties we have ever had without a doubt!
Amazing pasties, staff had an awful attitude every single time we went in there. When in queue the staff completely ignored us multiple times and seemed to be inconvenienced by a simple order. Thought the first time we came in and they acted like that it was just one of those days but it was not. Completely ruined our day and made us feel uncomfortable.
Great variety of pasties and other sandwiches and sweets. Would definitely recommend Cornish and Steak & Ale.
They also do cream teas to take away with homemade scones
Great tasting and great choice of pasties at Fudgies. I tried the Cornish and the All Day Breakfast. The Cornish was well seasoned and the fillings were delicious, nice meat and nice veg. I would recommend trying, plenty of options available.
This is a real discovery for us in Woolacombe. We like the coffee and it's great value. The staff are pleasant and efficient. They have a wide range of tasty treats to choose from. I particularly like the standard Cornish Pasty. Don't be put off if you see a small queue, it reduces very quickly.
The best pasties in North Devon, and the best vegan/vegetarian pasties we've found yet in the UK!

Really tasty pasties at a reasonable price (£4.95) considering where the shop is. A really good selection of pasties, it’s a perfect place for getting something when you are on the beach if you haven’t made a picnic. Over the time we were there I had a sausage roll (average at best) Steak and Ale Pastie (Good) and the Cornish Pastie which was by far the best!! We also had some of their cakes too which were lovely
