I recently had the pleasure of dining at FU LIN, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, the enticing aroma of freshly cooked chips filled the air, creating an instant appetite.
The menu offered a fantastic variety of options, from classic fish and chips to creative twists on traditional favorites. The batter on the fish was perfectly crispy, and the chips were golden and flavorful. The portions were generous, ensuring that every bite was a satisfying experience.
What truly stood out was the friendly and efficient service. The staff at FU LIN were welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure that my dining experience was top-notch.
The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends or a quick solo bite. Whether you're a fan of the classics or looking for a new twist on traditional chippy fare, FU LIN is a must-try.
I left FU LIN with a full stomach, a smile on my face, and a newfound appreciation for the art of crafting the perfect chip. I'll definitely be returning for more chipper happiness in the future!
Ordered for the 1st time this evening and I must say the food was so good, the staff are lovely and cheerful and it is so clean too, they have tables and chairs whilst you wait and this will be my go to chippy from now on, the only negative thing I could say is that thwre is no delivery service which is a shame but no biggie, just ohine up, order and collect. Great all round..

Trying to find good and consistent Chinese Takeaway can be trying. Fu Lin across from St. Stephen's United Reformed Church on Woolton Road is a winner! It is clean, friendly and the food is top notch for Takeaway. There is a covered area with chairs and tables up front on the pavement. If you're really adventurous ask them to make it Chinese style and the flavour explodes as opposed to milder British taste. What a gift to this part of town is Fu Lin.
The moment I walked into the Fu Lin, I knew I had stumbled across something special in a local Chinese/Chip Shop. Everything spotless and in its place with 2 very welcoming and enthusiastic young ladies taking your order. The food was presented beautifully and tasted as good as any Chinese I have eaten in this country! Fantastic value for money all round. Actually I was reluctant to share this little gem because I didn’t want it to get too busy. In the end I thought it was more important that local people have a chance to support this new business and guarantee me great Chinese food for years to come.
Didn’t have any fish available, so pretty irrelevant how good their fish and chips are.
Great takeaway, lovely staff ... quick service and good prices.
