Very good atmosphere! Good quality pub. I had a cottage pie. Maybe I was too hungry but the portion size was normal, not generous as some commented. The pie was well made, but the "root veg mash" was a little plain. Carrot and warm cabbage. Overall 4/5 a healthy pub meal. The prices here are very high. Beer 4£. But the bartender lady was very very nice, I loved her personality!
Very friendly staff, no option of real warm meals except for pizza but we were recommended to take the great fish and chips from Red Chili and have a drink here - like tip top!
We missed our flight back home so we had to stay one night at Stanwell. The host recommended this lovely pub. After staying in London for one week it was the most friendly service we had in England. Very helpful waiters. Friendly, smiling and pacient. After stranding here by accident we even felt lucky to discover this place. We will definitely come again.
Very nice pub with lovely people and staff! Tasty beer in a beautiful atmosphere inside and outside on terrace.

Never knew of this "local", circumstances were my cause to visit after 25 minute walk, what a "friendly" bunch!! Laughing /joking, lady behind the bar was sooo helpful to me, helping me charge my phone and get me on pub Internet, this local guy"offered me slices of pizza"and bought me a shot!! I was only there for 2 hours max, but I'd like to say what a wonderful pub it was
Small family pub and a good surprise in terms of food.
I found this little pub by chance, I popped in for a quick couple and was pleasantly surprised. A lovely pint good selection on very friendly the home made pizzas that people were ordering looked amazing, I'm definitely going to try one when im next in the area,tv with sports and a pool table I can't wait to go back.
Popped in for a couple of pints and was given a nice welcome. The lovely lady behind the bar said this a a kind of spit and sawdust pub but found everyone to be nice: they have a small pizza Owen for food and real ale. Overall nice pub
