I had a lovely vegetarian breakfast and some cake as well. Everything was cooked to perfection! The place is really nice and quiet, and the staff were helpful.
The sausage melt with cheese and red onion chutney was lovely. My daughter (aged 23) loved the unicorn pink hot chocolate.
Friendly staff and very nice interior.
We had cake and a cup of tea + latte and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend very highly especially the home made cakes not only look appetising but are delicious
We went there after our civil wedding to get some lunch. We hadn't booked and they had no idea that we were going for an after wedding lunch. In a few minutes they had created for us a corner to take photos. What a wonderful surprise!!!!

But I believe that was due to the weather meaning most people won't have gone out
Usually quite busy especially down stairs
But there is also seating up stairs which normally has space
Gone to dogs.been going 7 years every week. Last 2 times coffees cold. Delivered by hand (not on a tray) spilt everywhere.had to clear tables myself. No hygiene anywhere. No wiping of tables. The 2 staff don't have a clue. Never again.
The food was delicious good quality food products used. Could taste that it wasnt cheap frozen sausages, bacon etc. Very impressed would highly recommend. Homemade cakes look to die for but I was to full on my breakfast.
Came back to pontefract today, thought I would come back to the café I used to come to, was really disappointed, the food was ok. BUT Cleanliness was NOT I had to clear table , I asked for table to be wiped girl came with a cloth skimmed it across table NO ANTIBACTERIAL CLEANER,Drinks was carried out not on a tray. I asked for two spoons for our drinks didn’t get them, ended up using my knife for cappuccino and same with my husband with is hot chocolate . It cost me over £15 as well also the Floor was disgusting, also under staffed . We could have been any official. First my husband been in there think it will be our last what a waste of £15
