On the basis that it's a bakery I was expecting my sandwich to be made from an uncut loaf of bread rather than some fairly bog-standard bread that looked like a supermarket value range loaf - disappointed
Myself and my partner have just opened The Swan, and Finnie's literally fuelled us in the opening days. Every day one of our team would nip down and get some sandwiches and we couldn't fault a single one. Absolutely delicious proper food. Our kitchen is closed every Monday, and we often advise people to go and grab food from here to eat in the pub! I get the cheese salad roll usually, and i love it. It has also sparked a fantastic north south divide about what a barm is called! :D
