I was new to this place. The food was spot on to be fair.
The mixed kebab and normal kebab and chips were nice, full of flavour and taste. Will try some more on the next return.
Found the menu to fat Tony’s in the shop next door decided to give it a try later that night and wow I can honestly say not the slighted bit disappointed the food was beautiful pizzas are fresh chips are beautiful and not greasy pies are fresh curry sauce is amazing just an all round amazing meal! Can’t wait to return!!

Was so impressed when we walked in, ordered a large and caried order and had great customer service from the young lady on the till. The lady serving was really helpful telling us about options and chucked in a couple of battered chips for us to try too as we said they sound interesting.
The cavalry was lovely! Hadn't had a good one in grantham before so this is the place to get them!

Wow never again will I order through Fat tony Fish and Chips had an order a month ago found a hair in the food phoned up and complained, they said we could reorder on different day!!! Called up a couple of weeks ago asking for some fish and other bits to be delivered as we’d had a few drink to be told they don’t deliver so cancelled,, called again today to be told nope because when we ordered the last time they had put the fish in already and they had to throw it away as apparently it wasn’t sold, what a load of rubbish!!!! Nearly 30 pound wasted as I said oh well have a refund then and a NO as well!!!
Just got a delivery from fat Tony’s and everything was perfect piping hot and tasty all our family enjoyed the meals . Forgot to take pics but will next time . This is definitely our new go to place for chippy Friday
Really good products, chips cooked perfectly and the kebab and naan were lovely. Disappointed that there was only one piece of haddock so I let my wife have that..... I was disappointed not demented ????!
Had a lovely chat with the 2 new owners while I was waiting for a freshly cooked fish.
Food was served in a box and then placed into a nice strong brown paper carrier bag.
Portions were good sized. Fish was lovely and flaky and wasn’t overpowered by thick batter. The new menu looks good. And an added bonus is that it’s cheaper than the last 2 chip shops I’ve recently used. Nothing from what our family ordered tonight was disappointing.
This will be our new ‘go to’ chip shop in the town
Best fish and chips in town and such a friendly team of people too.
