Nice little burger van just near welburn in the lay-by, stopped by for a quick bite before setting out on the kirkdale Beck trail. The gentleman in the van was friendly and polite. Sausage and bacon butty was smashing! There was even benches opposite the van on the grass to sit and enjoy our food watching the world go by!
Great spot for a pit stop.

Fantastic service and food. When I was there a mother turned up with her two little boys and ordered sausage sandwiches. When she genuinely realised that she had no cash and that a card payment could not be taken, the owner offered them fee of charge. Community spirit is still here. Well done

An accidental find on the way to cayton bay. Stopped for a cup of coffee, tried the sausage and turkey egg sandwiches... Addicted! We stop there now every time on the way and on the way back. Have even made a logical excuse for an extra trip just so we could stop there. The food is excellent, unbelievably cheap and piled high - all locally sourced and homemade, with local farmers stopping by to bring goodies. The turkey eggs are the best! And the owner is absolutely fabulous! Terrific man that remembers you, even if some time passes between visits. Highly recommend!
