Popped into Farro this morning… and oh my goodness! The waft of freshly baked croissants was just incredibly enticing. The queue moved well (reached early and that helped ????)… the store had a very welcoming energy as was the staff attending to us. Absolutely loved their friendly and helpful approach. And those croissants are addictive! Every bite to the last crumb absolutely delicious! So very difficult to stop ????… Have to visit again soon… Thank you, Farro ❤️
Needless to say it’s a famous bakery in Bristol. I came here at around 11:00 on weekdays and almost pastries are sold out. Next time I would like to try something else, and need to go earlier.
-Portuguese nata must have, crispy, egg tart tastes really good. I could eat 3 pieces at each time.
- almond croissant, almond filling with orange peel to balance sweetness and made different taste level. My favourite.
-West Country queen: with soft apple custard inside, special favor.
P.s: it’s a small bakery, no dine in but there have benches outside the store.
The honey almond croissant is incredibly light and balanced. The pastry is crunchy and well filled. The cheese scooter was the best I've ever had. The staff is amazing and the coffee ????
A fantastic little bakery with delicious pastries! The spiced bun is my favourite - so fluffy and yet has a nice crunch to it. Their croissant is a classic go to - perfectly made and never disappoints!
The coffee is a different story though. unfortunately it’s well below average. Such a shame as it’s not on the same par as their bread and pastries. This is the reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars. But Farro is still my favourite bakery in Bristol regardless.
Update 4/2/24: amazing pastries as usual - their consistency with the quality of bread and pastries that they make is highly commendable. However, their hot drinks remain a big issue. We tried hot chocolate this time round - my friend had a sip and threw the rest in the bin. I hope they sort out their hot drinks as I’m currently so unimpressed!
Recently, I was delighted to stumble upon a local treasure, Farro Bakery, which thoroughly impressed me with its expertly brewed coffee and a delectable array of fresh pastries. The rich, aromatic coffee, a product of various globally-sourced beans, was only surpassed by their assortment of pastries, each one a perfect blend of textures and flavours, making every bite an indulgence. Friendly and passionate staff add a personal touch, setting this establishment apart from larger chains. If you appreciate fine coffee and gourmet pastries, missing out on this place would be a true disservice to your taste buds.
Pastries to die for! The Rhubarb and Custard Galette is a taste sensation. The Babka is up there too. Even though the place always has a queue, the team works quickly so it's never an issue.
One of my favourite bakeries. The breads and pastries and the sweet and the savoury are always excellent in every way ????
I love this bakery! You need to get there early though because they sell out really fast. The Pasteis De Nata, Canelé De Bordeaux and the West country queen are my favourites. The bread and coffee are also great too! Great experience!
