This food was absolutely appalling. I hate to be nasty. But I payed £30 and I’ve nearly thrown up it’s made my stomach feel so dodgy. The customer service was lovely I had no problem with that. But the food. Especially the dumplings are really nasty.
We ordered a take away delivery after my Wife and I had returned from work, we also checked they had our food available before we placed the food order.
We were told at 19.22 that it would take about 45 minutes.
We rang again at 20.51 and we were told it was on its way.
It landed at our door at 21.08 which is close to 2 hours from time of order. We refused to accept it because it had been such a long time.
Their food might be OK but that is a ridiculous amount of time for a simple delivery of two main courses!
Incomplete order. Promised a call back to rectify. No money back & no apology
. Didn’t help it was ordered through just-eat but it wasn’t their fault. Apparently Empire Garden can’t refund anything because it was ordered through just-eat even though they received cash on collection. Sounds like a fob off to me. Poor business
A collection service. Food was served quickly by friendly staff. At the moment, it is definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Kidderminster. Good luck with the restaurant venture.

Great to see steamed dumplings on a menu, excited, ordered. Absolutely tasteless.....Dipping sauce vinager, vile, do my own 100% better. If in a restaurant I would have sent back. Not Good AT ALL

But if ordering on Friday/Saturday delivery times can be long because this place is so popular.
But very easy to change a delivery order to a collection.
If ordering online try doing it through their website at empire Garden.co.uk it's much cheaper especially when compared to just eat or deliveroo.
If your looking for something small to eat I would suggest the special tray meals
They are great
First time I've used them certainly not the last very pleasant/helpful on the phone prompt delivery(early) & the food was excellent
Second time I've ordered fantastic service fast & the food was really tasty
