We ordered 2 x Pies 1x Mash twice at 14.15hrs for Delivery at 16.50 it arrived early at 16.20hrs it was cold, over cooked Pie's and the meat looked & smelt strange in a big clogg in the middle ofpie, and very dark in colour will not be using them again. Not worth the money at all. Do not know how they or why they call themselves a traditional pie and Mash shop they should be closed down. Been on and off the toilet all weekend something wrong there. Will definitely NOT be using them again
This pie and mash is not horrible by a long shot, but the pies are not traditional - they contain gravy inside and shouldn't.
Average Pie , Mash & Liquor. Quality has dropped from my last visit 6 months earlier.
Paid for 3 meals and noticed my change was a bit short, I was then told need to pay a pound extra for the Liquor! Strange it's not mentioned on the wall menu.
We had pie and mash here, we'd been meaning to try for ages, but it was pretty inedible, no idea what meat it was but it did not taste right, nothing like any meat I've ever eaten before anyway and the liquor had no flavour. The mash was ok actually. When my husband took a bite of the pie, first thing he said was 'don't give the baby any, this will make him sick'. Please don't waste your money. Wish I'd read the previous reviews before visiting as they're very accurate. It's a shame as it looks like it should be great!
Very nice pies and mash, obviously a limited menu and the apple pie and custard i had for pudding was fantastic.

God knows what the meat was, but as previous reviews stated was just a clump of something in the middle of the pastry, an the smell was awful. Liquor was a weird colour, and very congealed, lot of money for not good quality. Well worth travelling to a different proper pie a mash shop. Will definitely not be revisiting this one
Has this changed hands? Don't see the previous people here and sadly the food has gone downhill. Liquor was of the darkest green with no seasoning and the pies are different. Used to be almost like a steak pie with chunks of meat but now it's like a congealed lump of corned beef with no flavour. Shame as it used to be good. ????
Visited recently and was disappointed as the meal wasn’t very hot. Liquor was tasteless and the meat in pie had a strange taste as if it was out of date.
