It’s a nice place worth visiting in kuwait. To begin the complex it’s situated in is a nice a quiet one. People who want a noisy ambience please stay away. It won’t suit ur liking. It’s more suited for a couple night out. Or a bunch of friends who want a secluded upper seating area where they can be as noisy as they wish. Also the chef knows how to cook some good wagyu. Overall I’m pleased with my experience.
Edo is one of the rare authentic Japanese cuisines in Kuwait with excellent quality of sea food. The salmon nigiri is superb, buttery and fresh.
People here are used to have their food with sauces and infusion food in general. But, if you have a liking to actual authentic Japanese food, you will love it ???? ????. Edo has a traditional menu.
We ordered Salmon Rice Paper Roll Salad ????, Spinach Gyoza ????, Salmon Sushi ????. The spinach Gyoza is my favorite ????????????????
I highly recommend it for fresh and good quality of raw sea food.
The food was okay. Rolls were average nothing special and abit under taste, however the salmon and beef teriyaki were a yum!
The place though was so freezing, like literally was cold, and the workers despite their super friendliness and good service were honestly too loud when they were chatting together.
Not too sure will be back again when craving sushi’s.
Food is always great. Staff is accommodating, friendly, and attentive. They dont have Highchairs for babies and toddlers, but they will borrow from next door.
The maki rolls we tried were pretty good and tasty. The sea weed salad with apple sauce was a major disappointment as there was more ice Berg lettuce and a small portion of sea weed. On the whole, I would recommend this restaurant for a standard Japanese culinary experience. I left feeling satisfied!
EDO Japanese restaurant in Al Khaled complex in salmiya very nice restaurant different plates my favorite the pickle mushrooms and steamed dumpling we sit outside nice atmosphere ❤️
Great food quality as expected from Edo, however furniture could be updated and a bit more unique decor.
Edo is an excellent representation of traditional Japanese cuisine in Kuwait. The food is unbelievably fresh and delectable, and I can't express just how delicious it is. I truly wish that this restaurant remains a constant fixture since its so conveniently located, and the atmosphere there is incredible.
