I really miss the midlands. I used to live in Nottingham but now live in the south. Everyone is much happier and friendlier up here. I just went into a family butcher, was greeted immediately by the 3 people working there with a friendly smile, one of them approached me straight away to help and then directed me to a smiley lady who served me a really good beef onion and horseradish roll. And it was reasonably priced and great quality! You make me want to move back lol.
A fantastic local butchers, friendly service - great quality meats and the best Pork Pies money can buy - We (My wife and I) both highly recommend the Stilton topped Pork Pie - different league!

Excellent service and good quality meats and pies. The sausage rolls are freshly made as is the bread. Excellent selection of bar b que food. All the meat is all locally produced by local farmers.

Used to come here for all of our meat and then got lazy and bought at the supermarket. With the current crisis, I returned as the supermarket shelves were completely empty and I will definitely NOT return to my old ways!
