Good pub, beer garden is bang on, and is lovely on a warm sunny day, whilst nursing a lovely golden one. Shame the DJ with the Ibiza tunes in the beer garden are no longer a feature...that was a great addition with the previous landlords. It'd be nice to see it back in play. ????

Never once have a left "on my own accord" occasionally left of my own accord but this fella seems to think anything will do. Now whilst the whole hospitality sector is going down the pan this bloke is engaging in the most blatant "are you local" syndrome. Look over the road and see your future
Really nice pub with very friendly owners. Decent prices and selection of drinks and a fantastic beer Garden which has booths, plenty of undercover areas as well as heaters and outdoors televisions. Great place
Has benefited from investments in recent years, particularly in the beer garden, but the beer range and ambience inside are extremely poor. Surely it could do better as the only prominent pub up that end of Billinge?
It really is poor that such a prominent village pub doesn’t offer a single cask ale. Sadly this has driven many former regulars away.
Went the eagle with my mum, she ad a pint of Stella I ad sum fresh water off a man called Derek. It was so chilled, beautiful beer garden n my mum wanted stay n watch football but I was starving n tired. Next time we'll stay longer. Yhem stools are so comfy n im not scared of heights so felt safe n secure. Can't wait go back!! Thanks to all the staff. Amazing little treasure in a sweet little village.
Lovely pub with loads of outdoor space if weather permits and friendly, helpful staff. Food great and the chef will happily cater for vegans. Dog friendly if you have a pal to take. ❤️
