Came here whilst staying overnight at the Aberdeen airport.
It was fine. £25 for poppadoms, naan and a chicken curry.
Beer wasn't cold and naan was underwhelming, not from a proper tandoor oven and I don't think it was fresh dough. Curry was decent although a little small. The poppadoms had been on the side for a while and came immediately.. service decent. Aside from a kid riding around the restaurant on a scooter.
In the heart of Aberdeen lies a hidden gem that tantalizes the taste buds and ignites the senses – Dyce Tandoori. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in the aromatic embrace of spices and the warm hospitality that defines this halal Indian restaurant.
My journey at Dyce Tandoori was a love affair with flavor, where each dish felt like a symphony orchestrated by skilled hands. The menu boasts a tantalizing array of traditional Indian delicacies, from fragrant biryanis to succulent kebabs, each dish crafted with precision and passion.
The Chicken Tikka Masala, a staple of Indian cuisine, transcended expectations with its velvety texture and harmonious blend of spices. Paired with fluffy naan bread, it was a match made in culinary heaven.
However, it was the Lamb Rogan Josh that stole my heart. Tender chunks of lamb bathed in a rich, aromatic gravy that lingered on the palate long after the last bite. It was a culinary masterpiece that left me yearning for more.
But it's not just the food that makes Dyce Tandoori special; it's the ambiance and hospitality that elevate the dining experience. The staff exude warmth and attentiveness, ensuring every guest feels like royalty from the moment they walk in.
In conclusion, Dyce Tandoori is more than just a restaurant; it's a love letter to Indian cuisine and a testament to the artistry of its chefs. Whether you're a connoisseur of curry or simply seeking an unforgettable dining experience, Dyce Tandoori is sure to captivate your heart and palate alike.
Dyce Tandoori Restaurant in Aberdeen is a culinary gem that never fails to impress. Their culinary excellence shines through in every dish, but it's their spicy curry, aromatic jalfrezi, and hearty prawns that truly steal the show. These dishes transport diners on a flavourful journey, reminiscent of exotic lands where spices reign supreme.
Pairing these flavourful dishes with a glass of their delightful floral wine elevates the dining experience to new heights. As we savoured each bite, we couldn't help but appreciate the careful balance of flavors and textures, truly an amphibious fusion of taste sensations.
Additionally, I must give a special shout-out to their delivery driver who sacrificed his evening to give us a lift home. His professionalism and friendly demeanor also left a lasting impression. With his exceptional customer service skills, I have no doubt he'll excel in any career path he chooses, perhaps even in marketing.
Overall, Dyce Tandoori Restaurant offers a dining experience that is both memorable and satisfying. From the mouthwatering cuisine to the tartan carpets, it's no wonder this establishment has earned its stellar reputation.
We tend to go here around once a month, if we get the opportunity to! Would highly recommend going into the restaurant and sitting in rather than ordering through takeaway, as it is such a better experience! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are also lovely and always remember us. A nice gesture they also have is pouring your drink in front of you and opening it in front of you, which I think is really nice. They are always making sure that everything is okay and making sure you have everything that you need.
This place also has quite a large restaurant so you were quite spaced out and not crammed in with other people which I also like. It is also quite reasonably priced.
A beautiful and pleasant Indian restaurant. A large variety of dishes. We ate a variety of starters, all of them were delicious and special. The owner of the house is very friendly and willing to help in choosing the dishes and matching them to the meal
We had ordered Stuffed Paratha, Chicken Tandoori and Matar Paneer and Saag Paneer. And the food was so delicious. Specially the paratha was so good with Tandoori chicken and Matar Paneer.
The manager came and asked how was the food. He was very gentle as well. Money well spent. I’m going again next week.
We have had our takeaways from here a few times the first two times they were great the last one we had wasn’t so good. They forgot some of our order.
The chicken I had was raw it was still pink in the middle so as you imagine, I wasn’t too impressed considering an Indian take away is quite expensive.
I don’t think we will be back.
Their service and food quality are just outstanding.
