Wonderful place, fantastic landlady, and the quaint village pub atmosphere with open fires to warm you up on a cold winter's day is perfect.
Would highly recommend a visit.
Something very rare, a proper pub, well worth a visit.
Been coming here every boxing day for more year's than l care to remember. Lovely relaxing pub with a very relaxed friendly atmosphere. A pub that always feels welcoming, definitely worth a visit.
As always Wetherspoons offer terrific value for money. Where else can you get sirloin steak and a drink for £7.80? My only gripe is that the food is served on cold plates and the steak is lukewarm.
The Duke of York is an interesting venue as it used to be Leominster's post office, so you can learn its history during the short time it takes for your meal to arrive.
Good for the everyday, perhaps not for the special occasion.
We have been visiting The Duke of York for about 30 years. It is cosy and welcoming, like being invited into someone's front room and impossible not to share a conversation with others there with you. Joy, Lyn and Harold are relaxed hosts and you will be friends in no time. (see you soon).
Scores on the traditional range but not on the beers. Keg only. This is a lounge pub, friendly. Could do with a cask ale or two.
Small Local pub with a fire that serves beer
Lovely family owned pub and a very warm welcome is to be had here. Fabulous fire!
