My partner order tonight for a chicken chow mein and a pork chow mein, and a breast of chicken curry chopped they apparently didn't do a pork chow mein but done a char sui chow mein which is pork, Now he didn't speak to the lady who stated he spoke to her so there is the first lie never asked for a chicken n pork chow mein. He asked for a chicken chow mein and when you stated that you didn't do pork and you made a char sui one he stated I will have that not a mixed chow mein with chicken and pork chow mein. I won't be ordering again from here, if you can't take simple intructions why would I order from here. I'll stick with Lucky garden who knows that pork and char sui means the same. For service 4 stars for the delivery driver as it's not his fault for other peoples mistakes.
I got the actual meal that was asked for resent back out with the other meal handed back to delivery driver and I must say it's lovely so I will add a couple of stars.
I ordered a chicken fried rice from here tonight and it had bones in the chicken I was eating it when I noticed and it was horrible when I phoned I didn't even get an apology
Worse service ever almost killed a member of my family by not listening to the order and put in an ingredient they were allergic to then had the audacity to say I didn’t tell them, had to practically fight them for a refund.
Ppl always told me to stay clear but thought I’d try for my self.
Also told me that plain noodles had onions and bean sprouts in it, REALLY plain is plain where I come from.
Pure cheeky from the off set
Very lovely and tasty dinner we had last night, the salt and pepper chicken is very good!
However we ordered chicken curry as well.... 2 bones were found in the dish, luckily the first one was rather big so it wasn't swallowed or caused any harm however the second was small and sharp, we were lucky we searched through the chicken after the first incident.
Its our favourite Chinese and really good prices but this has really disappointed us!
This is my favourite Chinese take away in Cumbernauld. The food is consistently well prepared and tasty. Their large spring rolls have a delicious, unique flavour. They are always willing to be creative if asked, for example adding some satay sauce to Singapore rice or making a dish very spicy indeed..... Other takeaways in Cumbernauld are very rigid - "if it's not on the menu, you can't have it"
So refreshing to find a takeaway which understands that a bit of flexibility goes a long way to keep customers happy. Highly recommend.
Takeaway good prices food just ok
I have used the Dragon Palace Chinese takeaway in Cumbernauld for over 25 years (even now when we live at far end of Falkirk) but after tonight I won’t be returning. When I ordered our food tonight I even said to them “can you make sure the Salt and Chilli chicken is fresh as last few weeks it’s not been good”. When I got home and served it, again it was little slithers of chicken inside batter that was so hard it was difficult to cut. The prawn crackers tasted soggy and my husband said his sweet and sour Pork Cantonese tasted as if the oil it was fried in was really old. So time for me to find a new Chinese takeaway.
The woman on the phone was so rude, asked her for any allergens in the spring rolls as they’re sometimes cooked with peanut oil and the response i got was “i don’t know, it’s just got vegetables in it.” She acted like it was a stupid question and god forbid I ended up being allergic to these. Horrible service, horrible attitude and cold food.
