Your staff are very helpful and courteous on the phone and time to get through is generally very good. One point I think you should address and that is email. Please could you have your system setup to auto acknowledge an email sent to you or at least provide a read receipt. When I have sent an email, I have several times had to call to find out if the email was actually received. Today I had to call regarding an email sent 10-days ago requesting a prescription request, as I had heard nothing from you. The matter was resolved by the lady I spoke with.
Doctors, nurses and back up staff are great but the web site is atrocious. Please don't be confused by the one star rating, it is for the web site only. I do not normally make comments as a rule but once again I have got frustrated in requesting medication. I spend up to an hour trying to get to the actual site. All I seem to get is the MSW site with the message "Engaging websites that signpost your patients" or a surgery in London.
You can never get through ! Then when I did I had a thousand questions from the receptionist! I needed to speak to my doctor, after an operation, I had a temperature of 40 c ... blurred vision , could hardly string a sentence together. The receptionist told my husband to call 111.. which he did , only to be told to give me paracetamol to reduce my temp ... an hour later I was in so much pain , we decided to go straight to ruh where i was admitted with sepsis! For goodness sake, why spend so much on a new building, but not educated staff!
The staff are always pleasant and professional however they all too readily direct you to the website which is not fit for purpose. They out source to a private company which demands a fee to set up an account. Disgraceful!
The new way of making appointments is appalling! I registered here. The appointment came through for the Wingfield site. No option to see a doctor. You're getting a nurse weather you want it or not.
Sometimes Dr just don't listen or can't be bothered as they have been doing all day and that 's how I felt when I went to the Dr.
Had to wait a while but Dr was excellent, really took time and explained although we were being neurotic parents.
