Brilliant service. Brilliant Food
The only thing I’d say is maybe try get a new card machine if you have difficulty using the one you have already. To anyone reading (bring cash)
Ordered a smoked sausage supper and received bland tasteless chips and a microwaved smoked sausage that wasn't warmed through. Wondered why the guy appeared from the adjacent room with the sausage and plonked it on the chips, rather than taking it from the frying cabinet. If I wanted nuked food, I would have bought the sausage myself and cooked it at home instead of going to a chipper. Binned.
Excellent fish and chips, pricing is good and the couple owning the shop is just wonderful. Definetely worth a visit if you're looking for good fish and chips!
Went to Chippy Thursday Night about 5 pm.
Got a sausage supper.
The Chips were tasteless and the sausage was look warm.
Chips were pale and seemed to have been sitting for while.
Not a good chippy Now.
Chips were not cooked properly, adn sausage had been sittin in hot plate.
Wont be going back.
This is a great chipper. I've been going be for years, since I was a teenager, and it's still run by the same chap. Very friendly service and great food. It has a very small sit in area that's very traditional but great, the kids loved it when we all went. Highly recommended, give it a go.
Ordered fish, fritters and peas.. fish and fritters soggy and undercooked.. fish frozen.. bland and tasteless..
I bought a chicken supper chicken all dried out and rubbery chips all soggy to be honest the whole meal was absolutly terrible wont be going back there ever again
New owners and staff nice and helpful. Food good and portions large. Been going there so long could prob sleepwalk there. Allways happy to go there. I'm sure a lot of folks are the same. Staff prob don't realise we'll allways keep coming back cos were used to coming there.
